Job Summary
A Mobile Pet Grooming Dispatcher is responsible for promoting Bark & Mane services by highlighting convenience, personalized one-on-one care, cage-free grooming, pet well-being, and easy scheduling. They coordinate and manage appointments for mobile pet groomers, handle customer communication, optimize travel routes, and ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.
This role involves assigning groomers to customer locations based on availability and proximity, maintaining accurate records, supporting recurring appointment scheduling, reinforcing the Well-Being WrapUp process, and resolving scheduling issues that arise.

Responsibilities
Customer Service & Booking: Answer calls, texts, and emails; educate customers on services; and book appointments with a warm, professional tone.
Consultative Selling: Recommend appropriate services, explain the benefits of routine grooming and pet well-being care, and set clear expectations regarding pricing and timing.
Schedule Management: Use our scheduling platform (Vonigo) to place appointments by zip code, territory, availability, and service duration.
Route Optimization: Build efficient daily routes to minimize drive time and maximize productivity.
Groomer Communications: Share appointment details, customer notes, Well-Being WrapUp information, and special requests with groomers. Communicate schedule changes as needed.
Recurring Appointment Management: Promote and maintain recurring grooming schedules to support pet health, customer retention, and route efficiency.
Proactive Confirmations: Confirm appointments, Pet Release completion, customer instructions, and pre-arrival details. Quickly fill cancellations when opportunities arise.
Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate customer, pet, service, and wellness-related records.
Issue Resolution: Address scheduling conflicts, customer concerns, delays, and service issues with empathy, professionalism, and urgency.
Brand Standards: Reinforce Bark & Mane terminology and service offerings, including Full-Service Bath & Blowouts, Full-Service Grooms, recurring care plans, and the Well-Being WrapUp process.
Qualifications
- Must live in the Reno, Nevada area or surrounding communities.
- Available to attend monthly in-person team meetings.
- Outstanding phone, text, and written communication skills; friendly, patient, and solution-oriented.
- Strong organization and time management skills; enjoys working from checklists and structured schedules.
- Comfortable with consultative sales and educating customers on services.
- Tech-savvy with scheduling and CRM tools (experience with Vonigo or similar platforms is a plus).
- Knowledge of pet grooming, pet care, or veterinary services is helpful but not required.
